What shipping costs

• Orders of ₹2,000 and above ship free
• Below that, carriage is ₹99

The amount is shown in your bag before you place the order, and again on the confirmation page. If a discount code brings the order below ₹2,000, carriage applies to the amount actually paid for the goods.

When we dispatch

We dispatch within 5 to 7 working days of receiving an order, Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

Most of what we sell is stitched to order, which is what that time is for: cutting, stitching, checking and preparing the piece. Anything needing further finishing — a fall and pico on a saree, for instance — takes longer, and we will tell you when you order.

How long delivery takes

• Delhi NCR: 5 to 7 days
• Other metros: 7 to 10 days
• Elsewhere in India: 7 to 10 days

These run from dispatch, not from the day you order, and they are the courier's estimates rather than guarantees. Weather, strikes and festival volumes all push them out.

Where we ship

We ship across India.

We also take orders from abroad, including the US, the UK and the GCC. International carriage is not priced at checkout — write to us and we will quote it and confirm the timing before anything is dispatched.

Tracking

We email you when your order is dispatched, with the courier and the tracking number.

If delivery fails

The courier attempts delivery twice before returning a parcel to us. If one comes back because nobody was available or the address was incomplete, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Redelivery may carry a further carriage charge.

Please check the address and phone number at checkout. Most failed deliveries are a wrong PIN code or an unreachable number.

If a piece is not right, we would rather have it back than have it sit in your cupboard. Here is exactly how that works.

Cancelling before dispatch

Write to us before your order is dispatched and we will cancel it in full, with no charge. Once it is with the courier, treat it as a return.

The return window

You have 3 days from the day your order arrives to ask for a return. We refund what you paid for the piece; the delivery charge is not refundable.

Between day 4 and day 7 we can still take a piece back, but as an exchange or store credit rather than a refund.

After 7 days we cannot take it back.

Exchanges

You can ask for a different size, colour or piece within 3 days of delivery, subject to what we have on the rail. If the new piece costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, the difference comes back as store credit.

What we can take back

The piece has to come back unworn and unwashed, with its tags and packaging as they arrived, and with the invoice.

What we cannot take back

• Anything stitched or altered to your own measurements
• Sale pieces
• Jewellery
• Lingerie and swimwear
• Anything bought with store credit

These are final sale. Please check the size chart before ordering a stitched piece.

Who pays the return courier

You do, unless the piece arrived damaged, or it is not the piece you ordered. In those two cases we arrange the pickup and pay for it.

If it arrived damaged or wrong

Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and send a photograph. Once we have seen it we will replace the piece or refund it in full, including the delivery charge.

Photographs matter here: a courier will not accept a claim without them, and neither can we.

How the refund reaches you

We check the piece when it gets back to us, and the refund goes out within 7 to 10 working days of that. It goes back the way you paid.

For a cash-on-delivery order we take your bank details for the transfer, and we use them for that transfer only.

Store credit

Store credit is valid for 6 months from the day we issue it, and can be used on anything on the rail.
